Brydens, an Arts and Crafts style residence spanning 6,500 sqft, graces the landscape near Berkhamsted.
At its heart lies an oak-framed central double-height living space seamlessly uniting the family and guest wings.
The design directive was clear: to forge a home that effortlessly accommodates contemporary family living while paying homage to the timeless quality and meticulous attention to detail emblematic of the Arts and Crafts Movement. Every material and proportion was thoughtfully selected, resulting in a residence of exceptional craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal.
Such dedication to excellence didn’t go unnoticed, as evidenced by Brydens being shortlisted for the 2013 National Brick Awards, a testament to its outstanding use of materials and architectural prowess.
TW-2 led the project across all RIBA Work Stages to completion.
